Dal 11 al 13 ottobre 2024, Bari ha ospitato il 97° Congresso della Società Italiana di Urologia (SIU), un evento di rilevanza nazionale che ogni anno riunisce specialisti del settore per un approfondimento sulle ultime innovazioni in ambito medico, tecnologico e scientifico.
In questa edizione, il Dott. Assumma è stato autore e coautore di 11 abstract presentati dal gruppo del Prof. Bernardo Rocco. I temi trattati hanno spaziato dall’utilizzo delle nuove piattaforme robotiche alle tecniche chirurgiche endoscopiche disostruttive per il trattamento dell’IPB (Ipertrofia Prostatica Benigna), fino alla telechirurgia, che ha rappresentato un nuovo spunto di riflessione sulle frontiere della chirurgia urologica.
